    Early Vote for the April 13th Democratic Primary Run-Off Election starts Monday, April 5th. Fortunately, Ursula does not face a primary opponent. Runoffs are required only when no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast in an election; Ursula garned an impressive 61.8% of the vote.   • Ursula Attends Harris County Democratic Party Convention

    March 24th, 2010


    Ursula was elected to be a Delegate to the Texas State Democratic Convention! This past week, Democrats from around Texas met for county conventions. While only elected Delegates and Alternates were able to vote on matters before the Convention, anyone who voted in the 2010 Democratic Primary was invited to attend and be elected as a Delegate or Alternate to the State Convention, which is set for June 24-26, 2010, in Corpus Christi. The Conventions provided an opportunity to meet fellow Democrats, get involved in the local Party, and hear from Democratic candidates.
